Bored Midwesterners are throwing boiling water into the frigid wind during the polar vortex

All across the Midwest this week, people are extremely cold -- extremely cold and extremely bored.

Temperatures dropped as low as minus-60 Farenheit in parts of the Midwest on Wednesday, forcing schools to close and sequestering workers in their homes. To combat their cabin fever, some folks have started stepping out of their homes for a brief second to boiling hot water into the frigid air.

Of course the water, once tossed into the wind, quickly solidifies and turns into snow.

Just a general word of caution, folks: This might look fun, but the polar vortex has brought life-threatening temperatures to many areas. Leaving your house is a questionable project on any day, but it's an especially risky move for today -- and possibly not worth it, not even for art like this.
