'Bake Off' contestant wins Ed Sheeran's heart after adorable Twitter campaign

Val Stones from Great British Bake Off is on a mission to meet her favorite singer, Ed Sheeran.

The beloved GBBO contestant took to her Twitter in an effort to grab the singer's attention.

She named a dessert after him.

And got a response from the man himself.

A follower noticed Val's affinity for the singer and asked if there was something between the two, to which she replied:

It would seem that Val's efforts didn't go unnoticed by the singer, who sent Val a personal video message. In the video, Ed tells her that he loves her and that she's wonderful. He also suggests that they should cook together sometime.
